Day 1

Day 1 Ujung Pandang Airport/Pare Pare/Puncak Lakawan/Toraja/Rantepao

Upon your arrival at Hasanuddin Airport at Ujung Pandang, your guide will drive you directly to Toraja by private cars through Bugis Villages and into the misty blue mountains. Your stop along the way will include a view of silk weaving and boat construction. Lunch at Chinese Restaurant in Pare Pare and refreshment will be served Puncak Lakawan, near the gateway to Toraja Land. Late afternoon arrival in Rantepao, check-in at hotel. Dinner at Hotel.

Day 2

Rantepao/Kete Kesu/Siguntuk/Londa/Nanggala/Marante

Full day excursion to Toraja Land. Highlights in this region include: the stone graves of Lemo, Marante, and Londa, where some animistic burial rituals are still performed as they have been for centuries. You will visit traditional Torajan Houses in Kete Kesu, Singuntuk, and Nanggala, which are shaped like buffalo horns in order to carry the spirit through the heavens and hereafter. You will be among the world’s few and fortunate travelers to visit this remote area. Any ceremonies, such as funerals, if reachable by foot, will be included in the program. Explore the market of the mountain people. All meals provided.

Day 3

Rantepao/Puncak Lakawan/Ujung Padang Airport

After an early breakfast at Hotel, you will depart from Toraja and drive to the airport at Ujung Pandang via the same route as arrival. Refreshment stop at Puncak Lakawan and lunch will be served at Chinese Restaurant in Pare Pare. Arrive at the airport for departure flight.
